Rethinking Philanthropy. Can philanthropy bridge the development gap? The topic will be debated during a one-day conference held in Geneva on 12th October 2017. We are one of the strategic sponsors.
We are thrilled to be one of the strategic sponsors of the “Rethinking Philanthropy. Can philanthropy bridge the development gap?”. The Forum will gather in Geneva 20 high-level speakers – philanthropists, entrepreneurs, leaders from other sectors, academic and development experts – to debate the main innovations, successes, challenges, but also limits of today’s “philanthrocapitalism”.
A particular focus will be brought to the African continent, which concentrates both the world’s greatest challenges and hopes.
The Forum is jointly organised by The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Le Monde Afrique and Le Temps and will be held on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at the Maison de la Paix, Geneva, Switzerland.
